English Translation

(1) I salute Vinayaka, who joyously holds modaka sweets in His hand,

Who is the ever-liberating one, whose belly is like a mountain from time,

Who sports in the world, who is the protector of the world,

Who is the sole Lord, who destroys the army of demons,

Who destroys the inauspicious, salutations to that Vinayaka.

(2) Salutations to Him who is more frightening than the terrifying,

Who shines like the newly risen sun,

Whom the enemies of the gods cannot approach, who is incomparable,

The Lord of the Lords of wealth, the Lord of elephants, the Lord of ganas,

The Great Lord, in whom I take refuge, who is eternally the supreme beyond.

(3) Salutations to Him who is the source of all worlds, who destroys the elephant-like demons,

Who is the belly that grants desires, who grants the boon of wealth,

Who is compassionate, forgiving, joyous, and fame-giving,

Who is the mind, salutations, salutations I offer to the radiant one.

(4) Salutations to Him who removes the poverty of the destitute,

Who is the delight of the gods, who destroys the pride of demon enemies,

Who is terrible to the world to be destroyed, adorned with gems and garlands,

Who grants the boon of His cheeks to those who worship, I worship the ancient protector.

(5) Salutations to Him who is the essence of the infinite, whose tusk is essence,

Who is beyond thought, limitless, and the destroyer of obstacles,

Who dwells forever in the hearts of yogis, like spring in season,

That single-tusked One, Him alone do I contemplate constantly.

(6) Whoever, with respect, recites this Ganesha Pancharatnam,

And remembers Ganesha in the heart at dawn,

Quickly attains health, freedom from disease, learning, wealth, and good sons,

Attaining a full life with all prosperity, not long after.
