namaste rik-svarupaya samarupaya te namah
yajuh svarupa-rupaya samnam dhamate namah || 1 ||
janaikadhamabhutaya nirdhutatamase namah
shuddhajyotih svarupaya vishuddhayamalatmane || 2 ||
cakarine shankhine dhamine shargine padmine namah
varishthaya varenyaya paramai paramatmane || 3 ||
namo 'khilajagadvyapi svarupatma-murtaye |
sarvakaranabhutaya nishthayai jnanacetasam || 4 ||
namah surya-svarupaya prakashatma svaravine |
bhaskaraya namastubhyaa tatha dinakrite namah || 5 ||
shavarhehetava chaiva sandhyajyotsnakrite namah |
tvam sarvametad bhagavan jagadudbhramataa tvayaa || 6 ||
bhramatyaa viddhamakhilam brahmandam sacaracaram |
tvadanshubhiridam spishtam sarvam sanjyate shuchih || 7 ||
kriyate tvatkaraiah sparsajjaladinam pavitrataa |
homadanadiko dharmo nopaakaraaya jaayate || 8 ||
taavadayavana saugamii jagadetat tvadanshubhiiah |
ricaste sakalaa hyetaa yunshyetani cha anyatah || 9 ||
sakalani cha saamaani nipatanti tvadangatah |
rgmayastvam jagannatha tvameva cha yajurmayaiah || 10 ||
yataah saamamayahashcha tato naatha trayimayaiah |
tvameva brahmano rupaam param chaaparaiva cha || 11 ||
murtamurtas tathaa suksah sthularupastathaa sthitah |
nimekaakashtaaadimayah kalariipah kasyaatmakah |
praseeda svechchayaa rupaam svatejaiah shamanam kuru || 12 ||
idam stotravaram ramyaam shrotavyam shraddhaya naraiiah |
shishyo bhutvaa samadhishato dattaa deyam gurorapi || 13 ||
English Translation
The gods said:
Salutations to you, of the form of Rig, salutations to you, of the form of Sama,
Salutations to you, whose form is Yajur, salutations to the abode of Sama hymns. || 1 ||
Salutations to you who are the abode of pure knowledge, to the dispeller of darkness,
To the pure light, to the pure form, to the stainless self. || 2 ||
Salutations to the wielder of the discus, the conch, the mace, and the bow,
To the most excellent, the most worthy, to the supreme Self. || 3 ||
Salutations to you whose form pervades the entire world, the embodiment of the Self,
Who are the cause of all, the refuge of those whose minds are established in knowledge. || 4 ||
Salutations to Surya, of the form of light, whose self is luminous,
Salutations to Bhaskara, and salutations to Dinkara. || 5 ||
Salutations to you who are the cause of all, who make the twilight glow,
You, O Lord, are all this; the universe moves because of you. || 7 ||
Through your rays this entire mobile and immobile Brahmanda is touched,
Everything becomes pure through your contact. || 7 ||
By the touch of your hands, the purity of water and other elements is created,
The dharma of ritual offerings and donations does not arise for help (but is natural). || 8 ||
Indeed, there is no union (like that with you) in this world; through your rays,
All Rik hymns are indeed yours, and Yajus hymns and others. || 9 ||
All Sama hymns dwell within your limbs,
You are of the form of Rig, O Lord of the world, and you alone are of the form of Yajus. || 10 ||
From whom Sama also arises, therefore, O Lord, you are of the threefold form,
You alone are the form of Brahma, the supreme, and indeed the supreme beyond. || 11 ||
With form, formless, subtle, with gross form established,
Of the form of time from a moment to an eon, with the nature of perishing,
Be pleased, by your own will, with your form, quell your own brilliance. || 12 ||
This beautiful, excellent hymn is worthy of being heard by people with faith,
Having become a disciple, established in meditation, and having given the fee to the teacher. || 13 ||

नमस्ते ऋक्स्वरूपाय सामरूपाय ते नमः |
यजुः स्वरूपरूपाय साम्नां धामवते नमः || १ ||
ज्ञानैकधामभूताय निर्धूततमसे नमः |
शुद्धज्योतिः स्वरूपाय विशुद्धायामलात्मने || २ ||
चक्रिणे शंखिने धाम्ने शार्ङ्गिणे पद्मिने नमः |
वरिष्ठाय वरेण्याय परस्मै परमात्मने || ३ ||
नमोऽखिलजगद्व्यापिस्वरूपात्ममूर्तये |
सर्वकारणभूताय निष्ठायै ज्ञानचेतसाम् || ४ ||
नमः सूर्यस्वरूपाय प्रकाशात्मस्वरूपिणे |
भास्कराय नमस्तुभ्यं तथा दिनकृते नमः || ५ ||
शर्वरीहेतवे चैव संध्याज्योत्स्नाकृते नमः |
त्वं सर्वमेतद्भगवन् जगदुद्भ्रमता त्वया || ६ ||
भ्रमत्या विद्धमखिलं ब्रह्मांडं सचराचरम् |
त्वदंशुभिरिदं स्पृष्टं सर्वं संजायते शुचिः || ७ ||
क्रियते त्वत्करैः स्पर्शाज्जलादीनां पवित्रता |
होमदानादिको धर्मो नोपकाराय जायते || ८ ||
तावद्यावन्न संयोगी जगदेतत् त्वदंशुभिः |
ऋचस्ते सकला ह्येता यजूंष्येतानि चान्यतः || ९ ||
सकलानि च सामानि निपतंति त्वदंगतः |
ऋङ्मयस्त्वं जगंनाथ त्वमेव च यजुर्मयः || १० ||
यतः साममयश्चैव ततो नाथ त्रयीमयः |
त्वमेव ब्रह्मणो रूपं परं चापरमेव च || ११ ||
मूर्तामूर्तस्तथा सूक्ष्मः स्थूलरूपस्थथा स्थितः |
निमेषकाष्ठादिमयः कालरूपः क्षयात्मकः |
प्रसीद स्वेच्छया रूपं स्वतेजः शमनं कुरु || १२ ||
इदं स्तोत्रवरं रम्यं श्रोतव्यं श्रद्धया नरैः |
शिष्यो भूत्वा समाधिस्थो दत्त्वा देयं गुरोरपि || १३ ||
